Rebuilding Together of the Triangle brings together volunteer labor, donated supplies, and financial resources to repair the homes of low-income families in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties in North Carolina. We focus on creating safe, healthy and efficient living environments for our homeowners by prioritizing critical health and safety repairs.

We work to serve as many homeowners as possible. However, due to the voluntary natures of our resources, we cannot guarantee all applicants will be accepted. Decisions to assist applicants are based on an applicant’s eligibility for service and the availability of resources, including labor, materials and funding.

In order to be eligible, applicants must demonstrate:

1) Home ownership in Wake, Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties
2) Residency in the home
3) Household income below 65% of Area Median Income
Applications can be requested by calling Rebuilding Together of the Triangle’s office at (919) 341-5980, or can be printed. You can also access our Online Homeowner Application , which can be completed and submitted online.

Rebuilding Together of the Triangle accepts applications on a year-round basis. However, we have many requests for service, and a very small staff to respond to these requests. We ask for your patience as we review your request.

Featured Homeowner

Ms. Miriam and her teenage son live in Wake Forest, in the house where her mother was born. The roof had been leaking for years, damaging the back portion of the home so severely that several rooms were unusable. Ms. Miriam and her son were sharing the one remaining bedroom, making life even more difficult. Volunteers from Genworth Financial and Rebuilding Together of the Triangle repaired the roof, renovated the bathroom and living areas, installed new flooring, and purchased another air conditioner for the family. Now, Ms. Miriam and her son share a home instead of a bedroom.
